McGowan Subdivision Proposal

In November of 2014 the Energy Mines and Resources Land Planning, Land Management and Agriculture Branches had a public meeting on the proposed planning concepts for the Mt Lorne agricultural and rural residential land development in the McGowan area. The council has recently received 3 documents from Land Planning as a result of that meeting. The first document is a compilation of all the comments sent in by residents expressing their thoughts on the McGowan subdivision proposals as presented at the meeting. The second is a summary of the comments by theme and frequency as determined by Land Planning, and the third is a summary of the survey document distributed at the meeting. I would recommend residents read the documents in the above order to get a better understanding of what residents expressed and how Land Planning interrupted those responses.

Thanks
Al Foster
Deputy Chair, Mt. Lorne Local Advisory Council
